Milan defender Cafu has signed a new deal with Milan.

The Brazilian’s current deal was due to expire in June, but the club have offered him a 12-month extension.

The 35-year-old right-back joined Milan in 2003 after spending six seasons with Roma and won the Italian title in his first season at the San Siro.

Meanwhile, Milan have suffered a blow with the news that Massimo Ambrosini has fractured his leg.

Milan face Barcelona in their Champions League semi-final, second leg in Spain on Wednesday trailing 1-0 from the opening game.
