Juventus coach Fabio Capello said his side were unlucky to lose their unbeaten record to struggling Reggina.

Reggina produced one of the shocks of the season by defeating the Serie A leaders 2-1 on Saturday.

“Unfortunately we have been very unlucky,” said Capello. “We virtually scored two own goals.

“We played well and created many chances but the balls only seemed to go in for them.

“We accept the loss and we will continue to work as we have been doing.

“Unfortunately the result is negative.

“I thought we should have had a penalty but we accept the referee’s decisions.

“The condition of the pitch didn’t help us. It was really bad.”
