Roma president Franco Sensi has again confirmed that Fabio Capello will be staying with the club, despite Tuesday’s Champions League defeat to defeat to Valencia and the club’s poor domestic form this season.

“Next seasonwe’ll start again with Capello, who has a contract until 2005,’ said Sensi after the defeat to Valencia left the club’s Champions League hopes in tatters.

‘I can’t repeat this after every match,” the Roma president added.

Roma have lost all three of their second phase Champions League matches, while their prospects of qualifying for next year’s competition look remote as they languish in 9th place in Serie A, 17 points behind leaders Juventus.
