Juventus coach Fabio Capello admits that he could be tempted by a return to Real Madrid when his current contract expires in 2007.

Capello has also been linked with Manchester United as a potential successor to Sir Alex Ferguson, but he says he has no intention of quitting Juve until his current contract expires.

”I have a contract with Juve,” he told La Stampa. ”I’ve read it (the speculation) but I’m bounded to Juve for another year.

”It’s a pleasure reading your name linked to teams like Real and Manchester United.

”I’ve worked in a good way and in different places. It’s a thing that gives me pride. Coming back to Madrid?

”Coming back in a place where you have already been is a mistake. It happened to me at Milan in 1997 and it went badly.

”But in Madrid it would be different because everything has changed. Club and players.”

Talk has been that Capello could take a more of a hands on role if there are departures, like Ferguson at Old Trafford, but this is not something that interests the tactician.
