Celtic have signed Chinese international defender Du Wei from Shanghai Shenua on a four-year deal.
The Glasgow club secured a work permit for Du earlier this week and he arrived in Glasgow to sign a deal just hours ahead of the transfer deadline.
The 23-year-old spent a week on trial at Parkhead last month but Shenua Shanghai were unhappy with Cetic’s bid.
