Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has told Chelsea and Real Madrid that Sergio Aguero is not for sale.

Aguero is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in world football, and he is now attracting a lot of attention with the likes of Chelsea and Real reportedly preparing bids for the 19-year-old.

After fresh reports linking Aguero with a summer move away from the club, Cerezo has denied a transfer is imminent.

“The kid is not for sale, to Real Madrid, Chelsea or any other club,” Cerezo told the Spanish media.

“The decision of the club has not changed.

“Aguero will stay with Atletico because the club has a big project for next season, we want to play in the Champions League and he is key. The player is calm about the rumours.”

Aguero himself was quizzed about the interest in him from Chelsea, but insisted he was not looking for a move.

“At the moment my head only imagines me being in this club for many years,” he said.

“It is imaginable that I could triumph in any big English club, but at the moment money is not the priority in my life.”
