The ongoing hooligan crackdown in Italy continued overnight with arrest orders being issued for 13 Lazio fans.

They are alleged to have been involved in scuffles not only before, during and after last weekend’s capital derby against Roma but also back at the start of February.

Magistrates and police in Genoa were, simultaneously, seeking to identify from CCTV film up to two dozen hooligans from Naples involved in skirmishes with the police before Monday’s Serie B match against Genoa.

Police have also arrested a fan of Cremonese for throwing a firework “and threatening the life” of players and ball boys at the Serie C match against Mantova.
