Argentina forward Hernan Crespo admits he is hopeful of securing a permanent switch to the Italian champions at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old joined Inter from Chelsea in August 2006 on a two-year loan deal, with the Premiership club having the option of bringing him back this summer.
“Inter president Massimo Moratti has told me that he will do everything he can,” said Crespo.
“I am optimistic because I have seen Inter executives very determined and this makes me very happy.”
The Argentina international has scored 10 goals in 25 league appearances to help Inter retain their Serie A title.
