Olivier Dacourt is on the verge of becoming a Juventus player, assuming the Serie A club can resolve their outstanding transactions.

Juventus are prepared to pay £15 million to secure the Leeds United midfielder but only subject to the Serie A club resolving their other transfer dealings.

While Leeds are looking to recoup £15 million pounds, Juventus are involved in a number of transfer negotiations at the moment. There is the long-running saga involving Alessandro Nesta’s possible move from Lazio with Edgar Davids’ either going the other way or possibly moving to Roma. Once this has been resolved, it is likely the deal for Dacourt will go through.

“Negotiations are very advanced, there is already an agreement between both clubs. The deal could be finalised at the next meeting.” said Giorgio di Goergus, an agent working in conjunction with Dacourt’s agent.
