Daniel Alves has revealed he wants to leave Sevilla.

The highly-rated Brazilian’s future has been the subject of intense speculation for a number of months with several of Europe’s leading clubs reported to be interested in securing his services.

Chelsea are thought to be keen on Alves as they look to sign a new right-back for the start of the new season.

Although Sevilla are determined to retain Alves, the player has admitted he is keen to leave.

“My objective is to play in another team,” Alves told Arena Sportv.

“I have been at Sevilla for five years and now I think it’s the moment to give a step forward in my career and play at a European giant.

“I won all what could be won at Sevilla so I feel that this is the moment for following my career in another place.

“In one year we changed Sevilla’s history. We won three titles in one year and that hasn’t happened for a long time.”
