Valencia striker David Villa has revealed that he does not want to speak about his future until after the World Cup.
The Spain international has reportedly been targeted by a number of Europe’s top clubs, and although he has previously hinted that he could move this summer, he does not want the speculation to distract him over the next few months.
“I do not speak about my future until after the World Cup,” Villa told the Valencia press.
“This summer will be different in comparison with the past. I desire to play a World Cup with calm and concentration, without thinking about other things.
“My mind is on football and although the papers publish stories about my future I do not give an opinion on the rumours.”
