Dutch midfielder Edgar Davids has confirmed he would relish a return to Barcelona.
Davids joined Barcelona on a six-month loan deal from Juventus during the January transfer window and helped transform the season of the club. .
He was offered the chance of making the move permanent, but opted to join Internazionale instead.
However, Davids has been a peripheral figure at Inter under Roberto Mancini, and has hinted he is ready to move to secure regular first team action.
“In six months at Barcelona I learnt more than during four years in Italy,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I was sorry to leave, but it was a forced choice, bound to a business deal.
“But in life there come moments in which you have to make choices, and I made them.
“Moving back to Barcelona? It could happen.”
However, at present UEFA rules state that a player cannot be the subject of more than one transfer in a 12-month period, meaning Davids may have to wait until the end of the season to secure a transfer.
