Barcelona will complete the signing of Portugal international Deco from FC Porto on Tuesday, providing the player passes a medical.

The 26-year-old Brazilian-born midfileder has agreed a four-year contract with the Catalan club, Barcelona confirmed on their official website on Monday afternoon.

Deco has spent the last six years with Porto, whom he won the Champions League last season. In addition, the playmaker won UEFA Cup in 2003 as well as three Portuguese league titles, three Portuguese Cups and one Portuguese Super Cup.

Deco will become Barcelona’s fourth new signing this summer following the signings of Ludovic Giuly, Henrik Larsson and Juliano Belletti.
