Asier Del Horno admits he is shocked by speculation linking him with a return to his homeland with Real Madrid.
The Premiership champions have reportedly held talks with Real Madrid’s Brazilian full-back Roberto Carlos about a possible move to Satmford Bridge. There have been suggestions that the switch could take place with Del Horno moving in the opposite direction.
“It has left me surprised,” the Spaniard admitted.
“I don’t know if I will leave. That’s for the people at Chelsea.
“What I can say is it’s an honour that Madrid could be interested in me,” he added.
“They’re a great team and everyone would like to play for them.
“They’re a giant and just the thought of playing there makes me happy.”
