Roma coach Luigi Delneri has admitted he is feeling under pressure after another defeat.

Delneri appointed earlier this season following the resignation of Rudi Voller, has had a disappointing start since he arrived in the capital.

Coppa Italia defeat to Siena has increased the pressure on the former Chievo boss, and he admits things are not going well.

“There is fear that the results won’t arrive,” admitted Delneri.

“There is a genuine sense of insecurity.

“I’m really worried because everything is going badly and the team is feeling the pressure of the environment.

“Playing in this situation is really hard.

“As this point it is fundamental to get back the injured players.”

Director Franco Baldini suggested that the club would not tolerate many more bad results.

“It’s a psychological problem,” said Baldini. “The players are shadows of their real selves.

“There is a risk we will enter a very dangerous tunnel.”
