Ronaldinho’s World Cup ambitions have received a setback after he was left out of Brazil’s squad for their final warm-up match against Republic of Ireland in London.

Ronaldinho has produced a string of encouraging performances for Milan in recent months, but he has not played for the Selecao since April 2009.

Brazil coach Dunga decided there was no place for him in his 22-man selection and said: “Every player has chances (of a place in the squad). At this moment he isn’t part of it though.”

Meanwhile, Robinho, who returned to Santos on loan from Manchester City last month in order to improve his own chances of selection, has been included and there is also a place for Flamengo duo Kleberson and Adriano.

The friendly game will take place at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on March 2 and will be Brazil’s first of their 2010 campaign.

Full squad: Cesar (Inter Milan), Doni (Roma), Maicon (Inter), Alves (Barcelona), Lucio (Inter), Juan (Roma), Silva (Milan), Luisao (Benfica), Bastos (Lyon), Gilberto (Cruzeiro), Gilberto Silva (Panathinaikos), Felipe Melo (Juventus), Josue (Wolfsburg), Kleberson (Flamengo), Ramires (Benfica), Julio Baptista (Roma), Elano (Galatasaray), Kaka (Real Madrid), Robinho (Santos), Nilmar (Villarreal), Fabiano (Sevilla), Adriano (Flamengo).
