The Football Association is set to investigate a fresh claims of racism against Newcastle midfielder Emre.

Watford’s Al Bangura elleges he was racially abused by Emrem bringing to three, the number of separate accusations of racism against the 26-year-old Turkish international.

Emre was at the centre of a storm following allegations that he racially abused an Everton player in December’s Premier League game between the sides, while Bolton striker El-Hadji Diouf, who made a similar claim, has decided not to pursue the matter.

“The FA wrote to Bangura and Diouf to ask for a statements,” said a Football Association statement.

“El-Hadji Diouf has responded and confirmed he does not want to pursue the matter.

“Al Bangura has responded with a statement and further investigations will now be made.”
