Portugal international Simao Sabrosa has admitted that he hopes to play in the Premier League at some stage of his career.

The winger has been strongly linked with Liverpool in the past, but a deal never came to fruition and ultimately he moved on to Atletico Madrid.

He admits to feeling settled in the Spanish capital at present, but refuses to rule out the possibility of a move to England in the future.

“I signed a four-year contract,” the 29-year-old told Sic Noticias.

“I still have two more left (after this) and, if I complete them, I will do it happily, but I still have the dream of playing in England.

“I’m attracted to the style of play there and their stadiums.”
