The English Football Association has admittedit is “highly unlikely” to accept tickets for England’s final Euro 2004 qualifying game in Turkey.

The FA isconcerned about the potential for disorder given the number of fans expected to travel to the game in October.

An estimated 5000 England fans would be expected to make their way to the game, but given the recent history of hostility between the two sets of fans, the FA looks set to reject their allocation.

The FA have reached their decision after consulting with the police, supporters’ groups and the Turkish authorities.
