PSV Eindhoven defender Jurgen Colin has joined Premier League side Everton on a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old is under contract at Eindhoven until 2007 but was expected to play many first team matches this season.

“This is a dream for this boy,” Stan Valckx, Eindhoven’s general manager, told their official website.

“There was hardly any future for him in Eindhoven so this is the best solution.”

He becomes manager David Moyes’ fourth signing of the close season, following the arrivals of Tim Cahill, Marcus Bent and Eddy Bosnar.
