Santiago Ezquerro has admitted he would only be interested in leaving Barcelona if an offer came in from a leading club

.

The Spanish midfielder has been told he can leave in the January transfer window and he has previously expressed a desire to play in England or Scotland.

Several clubs have been linked with the player, while Blackburn were rumoured to be close to signing Ezquerro last season.

Ezquerro concedes that it would be difficult to find a better club than Barca, and is in no hurry to leave.

“I have three or four offers, but I don’t find any of them attractive,” he told the Daily Express.

“I am 31 and I don’t want an average club. If I were to leave, it would be hard to find a club as stimulating as Barca.”
