The Turkish Football Federation has ordered Fenerbahce to play one home game behind closed doors after last weekend’s match with Elazigspor was hit by crowd trouble.

A group of Fenerbahce supporters verbally abused the referee during the Turkish Super League match despite repeated tannoy announcements requesting them to stop.

Fenerbahce will have to play their 18 October match against Adanaspor behind closed doors and also will have to pay a fine of _1,900.
