The Champions League might have just finished for another season, but we’ve already got the outright prices for 2008/09. Will Man Utd retain the cup?

Fenerbahce have signed Spanish striker Dani Guiza from Real Mallorca.

The 27-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Fener and will be reunited with former Spain coach Luis Aragones, under whom he was victorious with Spain at last month’s Euro 2008 finals.

Guiza joined Mallorca last summer from Getafe, and scored 27 goals in his first season to become Spain’s leading goalscorer.

The reported fee of €17.4million reported deterred several other suitors, although acording to Guiza’s agent, the move to Fenerbahce was put on hold for several days while the player mulled over several alternative offers.
