Fiorentina have signed former Italy international striker Christian Vieri on a one-year deal.
The much-travelled forward was available on a free transfer after leaving Atalanta at the end of last season.
Vieri, 34, had been linked in the Italian press recently with a move to Sven Goran Eriksson’s Manchester City.
However, the veteran is staying in Italy and has been handed a 12-month deal worth around €1.5million.
