ESM Golden Shoe winner, Diego Forlan, insists it will take a considerable improvement on his current deal at Atletico Madrid to persuade him to quit the Spanish capital.

Forlan was in fine form last season as he finished the campaign as the top goalscorer in the Primera Liga with 32.

His exploits at Atletico have reportedly caught the attention of champions Barcelona, while a number of Premier League sides have been linked with giving the Uruguayan a second crack at English football despite his disappointing spell with Manchester United.

Forlan, though, remains happy at Atletico and admits that only an extraordinary offer would tempt him to move.

“To accept an offer from another club, it would have to be much better than what I have at Atletico,” he told Marca.

“For the same conditions or even just a little bit better I will stay where I am because I feel very good here.”

Forlan, who joined Atletico in 2007 from Villarreal, is under contract until 2011.
