Wigan beat Birmingham 2-1 on Saturday but the Latics are still a best price 2/5 for relegation this season…

Real Madrid have suffered a blow with the news that Cristiano Ronaldo has suffered a recurrence of the hamstring injury that kept him out of action recently.

The former World Player of the Year player only returned to first-team duty this week after missing two games with a similar problem.

The £80million man complained of pain in his left thigh following the Madrid derby and he underwent tests, where the damage was confirmed.

According to a statement on Real Madrid’sofficial website, Ronaldo is now likely to be absent for “between two to three weeks, depending on his progress”.

Ronaldo will miss Portugal’s upcoming friendlies against Chile and Finland, and he must be considered a doubt for Madrid’s league match against Sporting Gijon in a fortnight’s time and their Champions League clash with Tottenham on April 5.
