In demand Parma goalkeeper Sebastien Frey could be on his way to England with either Arsenal or Chelsea.

The highly rated French stopper is valued at around £7m and claims to have had talks with Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger but would be just as happy to join Claudio Ranieri’s Chelsea.

“I know that Arsenal and Chelsea are still very interested in buying me,’ he admitted.

‘The decision will be made in a few days.” “The choice will go to the club who pays better and especially up front.

“My valuation is between €10m and €12m.

“This solution is a good one for me. On one side I’ll find Claudio Ranieri and on the other Arsene Wenger.

“One is Italian, the other is French. I won’t have any trouble with the language.

“I’ve already spoken with Wenger – he’s waiting for me.”

The Italian club are currently in financial turmoil and this is the reason behind Frey’s desire to leave he revealed.

“I feel good in Italy but I can’t stay as it would be bad for Parma, who need money and soon.”
