Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky admits that he is becoming increasingly frustrated with his ongoing injury troubles.

The Czech Republic international has been out of action since January with a knee complaint and is still some way off a return to first team action.

“It is pretty irksome,” Rosicky said on his official website.

“I still cannot start full training.

“There is nothing I can do but wait and hope that the injury goes away.”

Rosicky also spoke of the Champions League quarter-final draw which paired Arsenal in an all-English tie with Liverpool.

“Of course it is a tough draw and we could have drawn a weaker opponent,” he said.

“I think though that last year’s elimination by PSV (Eindhoven) proved that there are no easy opponents.

“If we want to keep our sights set on the final then we cannot avoid any team.

“Also, this tie will be a special one for the fans.”
