Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is in a race to be fit for next week’s Champions League second leg encounter with Manchester United.
The combative Italian limped off with a foot injury during the first leg on Tuesday, as Milan went down 3-2 to United.
“I will do everything I can to play at the San Siro,” said the former Rangers man.
Gattuso admits he was left bitterly disapppointed seeing the Rossoneri throw away a 2-1 lead at Old Trafford.
“This result burns,” admitted Gattuso.
“We are really angry.
“But do not fear because in the return leg we still have a chance.
“At Old Trafford, we have proved to be a great team and we shouldn’t fear Manchester.
“It’s going to be a difficult encounter but it would have been the same had the result finished 2-2.”
