Georgia have been ordered to must play their next EURO 2004 qualifying match behind closed doors.

The punishment came after a knife was thrown on to the pitch and struck a player during their last qualifier against The Republic of Ireland in Tblisi.

Missiles were thrown from thecrowd during the match and Ireland’s Kevin Kilbane was struck by a pen-knife.

The Georgian Football Federation has until Friday to appeal against the ruling
