Berti Vogts claims Germany are worried about Scotland’s threat to them for Euro 2004 qualification, following back-to-back victories over Iceland.

Scotland are now level on points with Germany following the latter’s shock 1-1 draw at home to Lithuania last weekend.

Vogts, who led Germany from 1990-98, believes that the World Cup runners-up now view his side as a real threat, citing the fact that Rudi Voller will watch tonight’s qualifier in Lithuania.

“Rudi Voller is coming tomorrow,’ said Vogts.

‘It was not the plan for the Germans but now they have to watch Scottish football.”

“We can win, but I’ll be very, very happy with one point,” added Vogts.

“I expect a physical game. Lithuania are confident after their big success and I think they will start well with a lot of pressure on us.”
