Chairman Angel Torres has placed a €40million to €50million price-tag on Getafe after putting the club up for sale.
Torres bought Getafe in 2001 when the Madrid-based club were playing in the Secunda Division, but Torres is now keen to sell the club.
“We want to sell because we’ve been here quite a long time,” said Torres.
Several UK and Middle Eastern groups are understood to have already shown interest and London-based investment bank Seymour Pierce are looking for a buyer.
