Monaco midfielder Ludovic Giuly will be out of action for two to three weeks with a fractured foot, the club’s doctor has confirmed.

“Ludo broke his right metatarsus and further checks next week will decide how long he will be unavailable,” Eric Buracchi said.

Giuly was injured in a collision with Paris St Germain’s Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze last week.

“That’s part of a player’s life. But I’m confident my team mates will be up to the situation,” said Giuly.
