Falko Goetz has been appointed the next coach of Hertha Berlin, the Bundesliga club have confirmed.

Goetz, who managed Hertha for a brief spell in 2002, and was sacked hast month by 1860 Munich, has signed a two-year contract with the struggling BUbdesliga club.

He replaces Hans Meyer who is leaving the club at the end of the current campaign.
