Wolfsburg coach Armin Veh is to hold disciplinary talks with Grafite for the second time in a week after he was sent off in Wednesday night’s goalless Champions League draw with Besiktas.

Grafite lost his place in the Wolfsburg’s starting XI last weekend after he had criticised Veh for substituting him in previous games.

The pair sorted out their differences, but Veh confirmed that he will speak to Grafite again in the wake of his Champions league dismissal.

“We will have to talk about it because he shouldn’t be doing something like that,” said Veh afterwards.

The red card in the 74th minute may have appeared harsh, but Veh was not keen on defending his striker.

“You can give a red card for that,” added the Wolfsburg coach, who has at least been given an easy excuse to leave Grafite out of the return fixture on November 3.

Wolfsburg trail group leaders United by five points, but have a one-point advantage over CSKA Moscow and remain three clear of Besiktas at the midway stage of the group phase.
