The Spain international strained a muscle in his right leg in training on Friday and will not be fit to face Barcelona.
His absence is a blow for coach Wanderley Luxemburgo. However, the Real Madrid received better news with the return to training of fellow Brazilians Ronaldo and Julio Baptista.
