Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed he has turned down offers to coach Sweden and Norway.

The Swedish FA confirmed last week Hodgson was on their shortlist of candidates to replace Lars Lagerback, while Egil Olsen was placed in charge of Norway on a temporary basis following the sacking of Age Hareide.

Hodgson said today: “It’s very nice to be mentioned. I’ve made it clear to the people who have contacted me that I have a contract so it’s a non-starter and there is no point in them considering me.”

The former Switzerland manager has done an impressive job at Fulham since taking charge at Craven Cottage in December 2007, leading them to seventh spot and a place in Europe last term.
