Hoffenheim have signed former Stuttgart goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand following his departure from Valencia.
Hoffenheim, who lead the Bundesliga on goal difference from Bayern Munich, said on their website (www.tsg-hoffenheim.de) that Hildebrand would be presented at a news conference later on Wednesday.
The former Germany keeper made a name for himself during Stuttgart’s 2003-4 Champions League campaign before joining Valencia in 2007.
He left the Spanish club by mutual consent last week after becoming third choice under coach Unai Emery.
