Turkish striker Ilhan Mansiz has confirmed that he would like to join German giants Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The Besiktas forward, who came to prominence at the World Cup finals by scoring three goals, is looking for a move to a major European club and has earmarked Munich, the city of his birthas his dream destination.
“Three goals are not enough to be the best (at the World Cup). If I want to be the best I have to play at the biggest teams in Europe,” Ilhan told German newspaper ‘Sport Bild’.ÿ
“I will leave Besiktas at theend of the season. I want to play at Bayern Munich.”
Ilhan, who has been struggling with injury, confirmed that he is back to full fitness and ready to resume his career.
“I feel good.ÿI am ready to play after medical treatment,” he added.
