Turkey striker Ilhan Mansiz has joined Japan’s Vissel Kobe, officials of the J-League club have confirmed.
The 28-year-old striker, best known for scoring the golden goal that took Turkey into the semi-finals of the 2002 World Cup, already has a significant fanbase in Japan.
His signing is a coup for big-spending Vissel.
