Japanese World Cup star, Junichi Inamoto has reached an agreement join Fulham.

Inamoto was released by Arsenal just before the World Cup finals, having only played in four matches last season and despite interest from severall European clubs, he will make th relatively short trip across London to Jean Tigana’s Fulham.

The 22-year-old midfielder impressed a number of clubs with his World Cup performances in a Japanese side that progressed beyond the first round for the first time in it’s history.

PSV, Juventus and Perugia were all believe dto have shown an interest in the tenacious young player. However, Inamoto has rejected a move abroad in favour of staying to prove himself in the Premiership next season.
