Swedish international, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out of action for at least two months after undergoing surgery on a lingering groin problem.
The Ajax striker is the Dutch side’s top scorer, despite having been hampered by the injury all season long.
It is believed he wished to have the operation now to give him time to be fit for the European Championships in Portugal this summer.
