Czech international midfield player Jiri Jarosik has joined CSKA Moscow in a €5m deal that breaks the Russian transfer record.

CSKA tookJarosik on loan last season and the Czech midfielder impressed enough to persuade the club to spend €5m. The fee shatters the previous Russian transfer record of €3m, they paid when they signed Juris Laizans.

Jarosik was allowed to leave Sparta Prague after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League. The 25-year-old, who has won 16 caps for the Czech Republic, has agreed a five-year deal with CSKA.
