Spurs boss Martin Jol says he will deal with Hossam Ghaly internally after the Egyptian’s stormed off the pitch during Surs’ 1-1 draw with Balckburn on Thursday.

Ghaly is expected back in training on Friday after throwing his shirt to the ground when replaced in the second half after coming on as a first half replacement.

Jol said: “We always deal with this sort of thing.

“We have certain rules and arrangements, whether it is Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane or Jermain Defoe or Hossam Ghaly.”

Ghaly, 25, was brought on in the first half after an injury to Steed Malbranque, but lasted just 31 minutes before Robbie Keane replaced him.

Jol confirmed Ghaly was not in the dressing room after the final whistle.

Ghaly’s reaction angered fans who chanted: “You’re not fit to wear the shirt”.

Jol added: “The fans are entitled to do that. It was out of character because he is a very good boy, he’s always disciplined and every time he was involved he did well but you couldn’t say he did well this time.”
