Milan playmaker Kaka has been voted Seria A’s Player of the Year 2004.

The Brazilian international, who completed a move from Sao Paulo to San Siro during the summer of 2003 scored 10 goals in 30 league appearances and was a key memnber of Milan’s 2004 Scudetto-winning team.

The Rossoneri’s playmaker was voted 2004 Best Player by his fellow professionals ahead of team mate and Ballon d’Or winner Andrei Shevchenko, and Roma striker Francesco Totti.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was named the best coach award, while Paolo Maldini was voted best defender.
