Dror Kashtan has been appointed as asthe new coach of Israel’s national team.

The Israeli FA said Kashtan will take over in June from Avraham Grant, who resigned last year after four years in charge.

Kashtan’s appointment as the national coach comes a day after Grant was named coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv for the next four years – where he will replace Kashtan.

Kashtan has won six titles with four different clubs, five State Cups and three Toto Cups. He won the league and cup double with both Maccabi and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
