Stuttgart striker Kevin Kuranyi’s is expected to be out of action until the end of October as a result of the ankle injury he picked up in last week’s UEFA Cup win over Ujpest Budapest.
The injury is worse than initially feared and Kuranyi, 22 will miss several Bundesliga atches as well as Germany’s friendly international with Iran on October 9.
“I hope to be back as soon as possible,” said the striker.
“It was all going so well.”
