Celtic legend Henrik Larsson has sensationally hinted that he may quit football at the end of the season rather than taking a big money Bosman move.
The Swedish striker is much in demand as his current deal with Celtic expires in the summer.
He is currently being linked with a move South of the border to Newcastle United or to Spain with Catalan giants Barcelona. But Larsson has been playing his cards close to his chest refusing to speak to any clubs until the end of the season when he says he could possibly hang up his boots for good.
“I might quit football after this season and move home to Helsingborg,’ he said.
‘That’s as probable as me deciding to keep playing. This guessing game is just annoying.
“I will not get in contact with other teams. Everything has to go through my agent and we will agree what will happen when my contract with Celtic runs out.”
