After their disappointing 5-2 La Liga defeat to Real Sociedad at the weekend Celta Vigo have sacked coach Miguel Angel Lotina.
Lotina took Celta to the Champions League last season but a string of bad results have left them languishing just one place above the relegation zone and the Sociedad humiliation proved to be the final nail in the coach’s coffin. C
Celta currently lie fourth from bottom of the Spanish top flight.
