Vitor Oliveira has been appointed the new coach of Uniao de Leiria, replacing Paulo Duarte who resigned on Monday after the team suffered a fourth consecutive defeat.
It will be a second spell for Oliveira at Leiria having taken them into the top flight after the 1997-98 season.
Leiria are currently languishing at the bottom of the table with just three points from nine games and are without a victory all season.
